Ahoy Mateys!

Two months ago Casey and his brother Chris bought a 25 foot sail boat! Chelsea and I hadnt had the chance to feel the wind through our hair until yesterday. We were so excited all week to get some sun, but when we woke up saturday morning it was the thickest layer of fog I personlly have ever seen! We went out anyway and it was so fun, minus me being sea sick, it was freezing and the wind stopped half way into our amazing adventure. We wanted nothing more than to have our fancy pirate trip! Although the fog dampered our spirits, we all still had a ton of fun! Next time we go out we are hoping for sunshine and a good time!

Crafty!

Ive been inspired to get crafty! One of my really good friends for christmas didnt want to do a traditional wreath and so she made a cute yarn wreath. Yesterday I started looking up yarn wreaths and look at all the cuteness!!! You could have tons and change out the style of your front door weekly! I also thought about using them as some kind of wall art hung with painted empty frames on a wall, and some mirrors.

So something like this and add some vintage mirrors and then our yarn wreaths! How fun! It would look so cute in our family room and even in our bedroom.

CanopyThis is our bedding, the wreaths would be so fun in here! Cant wait to make them and post fun pictures!

Great News!

The Lovely Jane

Casey and I have been in the process of trying to get my catering and desserts company up and running for a few months now. I'm happy to report its finally here!! We have been so blessed to have everything fall into place exactly when it was supposed to. Lovely Jane Catering and Desserts is open for business, with all of the help from wonderful friends Heather and Mckay Turnbull, and the support of our family! Our website is up, but under construction as Casey is calling it, so don't judge it by first glance we will get there within the next 2 weeks!

What a crazy 2 weeks it has been Casey started school this week, and happened to get sick on top of that. I have been in meeting for the company, and working my new part time job. I'm nannying an adorable little girl named Isabella. We knew this family from our church ward, and they adopted her from china almost 2 years ago. She is precious, a ray of sunshine when everything seemed dark. Her newest phrase is "yours freakingism me outs" she is only 3 so this is literally how it is said. With her long beautiful hair which is constantly in in pig tails and her obsession with pink I have a girly girl on my hands.

Casey Is working hard, the past 2 weeks have been hard on him, he is working 40 hours a week and started school this week. However he is thankful for the job and the knowledge he is learning with his position. His major is Business with a minor in finance and another minor in spanish, so his classes this semester are brutal. His head is up though, and his heart lifted with all of the many blessings we have had.

We are excited for what this year has to offer! Hope all is well with each of you!
